We are currently seeking an Office Engineer with skills in budgeting, cost coding, AIA applications, purchase orders, subcontracts, project projections/forecasting and time cards/dailies experience. Will be working directly with our Project Managers and Executive Officers to ensure a high quality of work is being built within our budget and time constraints.

The candidate should be an experienced individual that people and leadership skills that will be the perfect fit for our busy office. The candidate shall be highly organized and efficient person, able to adapt quickly to new situations, work in a fast pace, and to learn new software, and tasks with minimal instruction. Duties and Responsibilities:

Support Project Managers with scheduling, data entry and data input into construction contracts, letters or templates, vendor payments, and records management
Input AP invoices, purchase orders, subcontracts, projects, pay application into spectrum software
File and maintain project files in hard copy and electronic format and provide all document control
Assist with bidding process including sending invitations to bid, receive and track quotes and proposals and follow-up prior to bid
Prepare bid documents and set up and load bid related documents into estimate files
Review and process daily time cards of crew and equipment
Plan/Specification Review Form-work Design.
Order material and inspect upon arrival Maintain RFI & Submittal logs.
Shop Drawing Preparation and Submission.
Effectively communicate project progress and issues.
Maintain accurate Contract Documents perform quality control inspections.
Create and maintain project info for marketing brochures, website, and social media.

Requirements:

Must understand verbal and written instructions
Time management skills including ability to perform multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and ability to work independently.
Computer skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to understand and follow instructions
Ability to read drawings and specifications
Good math/accounting skills
Functions effectively as part of a team dependable

Experience:
FDOT: 5 years (Preferred)
