Heavy Civil Roadway construction company serving South Florida with over 20 years experience in the industry. We are currently seeking an experienced Contract Support Specialist with people and leadership skills for our office.

Duties and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Knowledge of the construction process, particularly in quality control and estimating
Prepare, maintain document control, and establish monthly and final cost estimates
Operate within specified (corporate or project) budget parameters
Maintain document control for correspondence, RFIs, submittals, etc.
Prepare and analyze schedules
Prepare cost estimates
Read plans and specifications and understand the construction contractor’s means and methods
Assist with construction problems in the field
Establish working relationship with client, contractors, and design engineers
Comply with all company policies and procedures

Requirements:

Degree in engineering or construction management – 5 years experience with FDOT
Highly organized and detail-focused with a track record of accurately handling financial reporting in deadline-oriented environments.
Skilled in all aspects of recording transactions, posting debits and credits, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
Proficiency in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, generating monthly reports for clients and management.
Computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and able to learn proprietary systems/applications quickly and easily.
