General Laborer – Tampa
Job Description
A General Laborer position includes various manual tasks associated with construction operations. Excavate by hand ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, or rakes.

Highway Safety Devices, Inc. is a Florida-based, full service specialty contractor located in Tampa, FL. Additionally, we have a new office in Orlando, FL. HSD is an FDOT Contractor that is focused on highway construction, specializing in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS), traffic control devices, signalization, lighting, roadway signing, guardrail, and cable rail installations.
Highway Safety Devices, Inc. has immediate openings for General Labor personnel.
Experience is not necessary for the Common Laborer position. An individual will gain experience through on the job training.
All individuals shall have a clean driving record.
