Flagger (Level I & II)

Job Description

de Moya Highway Infrastructure is seeking certified Flaggers (Level I & II) to control traffic and maintain safe work zones around road and bridge construction projects. Flaggers play a critical role in protecting crews, equipment, and the public.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct traffic safely through work zones.

• Communicate with other flaggers and crew members to ensure smooth traffic flow.

• Set up and maintain traffic control devices.

• Monitor traffic conditions and respond to emergencies when necessary.

• Enforce all DOT and OSHA safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid Flagger Level I or II certification required.

• Strong communication and attention to detail.

• Safety-oriented and able to work in fast-paced environments.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand for long periods in varying weather conditions.

• Lift and move traffic control devices as needed.
