Project Manager

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead FDOT construction projects from inception to completion. This pivotal role involves coordinating all phases of construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Duties

• Lead project planning, including developing schedules, budgets, and resource allocations using tools like Primavera P6 and HeavyBid.
• Oversee project execution on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards, blueprints, schematics, and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless communication and project progress.
• Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and civil drawings such as Civil 3D files to ensure accurate implementation.
• Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and progress reports.
• Utilize construction management software to monitor project schedules, track costs, and update stakeholders regularly.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress, resolve issues promptly, and ensure quality standards are met throughout the construction process.

Skills

• Must have FDOT project management experience.
• Proficiency with ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and other construction management software tools.
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and project scheduling methodologies.
• Extensive experience in construction site management with a solid understanding of blueprint reading and schematics.
• Ability to interpret contracts and manage project scope changes effectively.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
• Demonstrated experience in project coordination across diverse teams within the construction industry.
