Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Description

de Moya Highway Infrastructure is seeking Heavy Equipment Operators with experience in road and bridge construction. Operators will safely and efficiently operate machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and graders for grading, excavation, and site preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy machinery to perform grading, excavation, and loading.

• Read and follow grade stakes and project specifications.

• Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance of equipment.

• Work with ground crews to complete tasks safely and on time.

• Follow OSHA and company safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid heavy equipment certification required.

• Experience operating equipment on road and bridge projects.

• CDL preferred.

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit and operate equipment for extended periods.

• Work outdoors in varying conditions.
