Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our Road MOT team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating transportation activities, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of freight. This position requires strong communication skills, analytical abilities, and proficiency in various transportation management systems. The Dispatcher will be responsible for managing logistics operations, utilizing tools such as GIS and GPS for effective transportation planning.

Pay: $16.00 – $19.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily dispatch operations to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Utilize GIS and GPS technologies to optimize routing and scheduling
• Manage transportation management systems to track shipments and monitor fleet performance
• Analyze data related to supply chain and logistics to improve efficiency
• Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and vendors via multi-line phone systems
• Maintain accurate records through data entry and documentation of shipping & receiving processes =
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all dispatch activities

Qualifications

• MUST LIVE IN THE WEST PALM BEACH AREA
• Experienced Dispatchers Only
• Proven experience in dispatching or logistics management is preferred
• Strong analysis skills to assess transportation planning and fleet management needs
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders
• Proficient typing skills for accurate data entry and documentation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently
