Job Description
Knowledge of equipment moving, paving operation, and equipment. We require that they be committed to the Ajax team effort by contributing to the efficient completion of the work.
Job Requirements
SKILLS:
1. Proper loading and tie down technique
2. Knowledge of truck, trailer and equipment.
3. Ability to communicate effectively and achieve set goals
4. Deep understanding of DOT compliance and roadside inspections
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Note: The following duties are descriptive and not exhaustive. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment to the position. Major duties include the following:
1. Be on time. (start times will be on the schedule)
2. Complete pre and post trips daily – report any maintenance issues
3. Answer company phone to receive dispatch and instructions
4. Assure the truck assigned to daily stays clean, inside and out, including trailers
5. Maintain all equipment, tools and jump boxes, etc. assigned to each truck.
6. Ensure PPE is worn properly when executing job duties and in all required areas.
Additional Information
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS
1. Field operation – Work is exposed to outdoor conditions, noise and heat.
2. Ability to work days, nights and weekends as required.
3 Hours are determined around workload
