The South Florida Construction Career Days (CCD) program is a collaborative initiative that supports workforce development across three Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) districts: District 4, District 6, and Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise. With a strong regional impact and a commitment to shaping Florida’s future infrastructure workforce, South Florida CCD invites the community to get involved and help drive career readiness in the road and bridge construction industry.
Regional Highlights:
- Serving seven counties across nearly 3,800 square miles in South Florida.
- Home to 6.1 million residents, contributing to over 109.1 million vehicle miles traveled daily.
- Numerous current and future employment opportunities are available in the transportation and infrastructure sectors.
