FDOT Mobile Construction Training Program – Panama City

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is bringing its paid Mobile Construction Training Program to Panama City beginning October 5, 2026.

This six-week program prepares participants for careers in Florida’s transportation construction industry through classroom instruction, simulation, and hands-on training. Participants will receive training in heavy equipment operation, Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) training, Maintenance of Traffic, Workplace Safety (OSHA), and FDOT and other construction best practices.

Following four weeks of classroom and simulation training, participants will complete an additional two weeks of training with the option to pursue a Class B CDL or transition into on-the-job training. Upon completion, participants will gain access to a variety of full-time employment opportunities.
